Call Me by Your Name (2017)

Even though Rainbow wave finally has arrived in Japan and it's been changing Japanese atmosphere, I think that many Japanese people would still hesitate to watch this kind of movies.
I could do though because I used to be an Otaku and read boys love stories when I was young.
Also, Oscar-winning was a good reason to watch this with no hesitation. If it didn't won the award, I would watch it secretly at home.

There are good points and bad points in this movie.
My favorite point is beautiful natures from start to finish. These would make you nostalgic if you are from countryside which has agricultural fields and mountains.
One of the interesting things is that you can see flies on the screen sometimes and they stopped arms of casts, which makes the natures real and vivid.

The description of falling in love with between Oliver and Elio is a bit weak and it is not entirely satisfactory. It was difficult to catch how to take place sudden love for me. If it depicted the emotional connection between them, the audiences could have understood their love naturally. Sadly, some people might think the sexual scenes would be too much because of that reason. In case the director intentionally describes that love is illogical, incomprehensible and sexual urge more than mental connection, we should have accepted as his way of love.
